Sanda University- School of CLPS,  to become the primary basic of cultivating financial IT talents

Sanda University – School of CLPS is a unique academic-industrial partnership formed between CLPS and Sanda University. It takes an approach to developing financial-technology talent that is unique amongst universities and colleges in China. These are the four cornerstones of this uniqueness:

1. Geared to providing in-demand, specialized technology skills. The Sanda University – School of CLPS programs teach and apply real-world, industry-standard technologies including COBOL and mainframe.
2. Orientated to industry needs. A complete syllabus that covers finance and banking as well as core technology skills, and unusual combination in IT or Finance majors in China’s universities and colleges.
3. Involving enterprises. As a Fintech enterprise, CLPS are close to the pulse of change and innovation happening in finance and technology, bring these changes to the school, and ensure training stays inline with actual enterprise needs.
4. Creating a springboard for students’ careers. As well as benefiting from a cutting-edge program, students of the School are eligible to apply to CLPS’s internship program, allowing them to develop technical, business, language and professional skills through taking part in projects with CLPS’s industry partners, leading names in finance.

Sanda University – School of CLPS was formally established in 2016, the result of 5 years’ of growing collaboration between CLPS and Sanda. For CLPS it is the culmination of over a decade of working with academic partners, our desire to nurture talent at all levels, and to in doing so making a substantial contribution to developing a sustainable Fintech talent pipeline.
