CLPS STAFF WON A CITI CUP AWARD

CLPS Staff who are Fudan University Postgraduate Students Won a Citi Cup Award

The team of three CLPS staff who are currently taking their master’s degree in Software Engineering in Fudan University won an Honorable Mention Award for their project “Unified Reward Exchange Platform” on the recently concluded 13th “Citi Cup” also referred to as the Financial Innovation Application Competition held last November 25, 2017.

They competed with 199 other teams from 66 leading universities all over the country and landed as one of the top 20 finalists.

CLPS’s annual “on-the-job master’s degree program” aims to provide staff the opportunity to avail of postgraduate education at top universities since 2014. CLPS encourages qualified staff to study in Fudan University to earn a financial-IT oriented master’s degree in Software Engineering (MSE).

With the combined knowledge acquired from the postgraduate study and extensive work experience in financial and IT field, the team’s project has been successfully recognized. The “Unified Reward Exchange Platform” was adjudged to provide inspiration in transforming the banking system to the actual needs of the industry as can be attested by applying innovation in the traditional financial industry.
