CLPS College for 2017 Freshmen Kicks Off

As the new academic year starts, CLPS College welcomed the second batch of students with 41 freshmen enrollees majoring in Management Information Systems (Financial Information System course) during the “ 2017 Freshmen Orientation ” held September 18, 2017.
CLPS and Sanda University jointly established “CLPS College” and formally inaugurated last October 2016 aiming to train IT experts in financial field. With Sanda University’s exceptional academic track record and CLPS’s more than 10 years of successful technical, business, and professional skill trainings, CLPS College made it as the sole college that develops financial IT talents in China.
After a year of practice, CLPS College has gained more teaching experience. It will continue to improve its course contents and teaching methodologies to provide students the utmost professional training experience.
During the “ 2017 Freshmen Orientation ”, CLPS senior executives warmly welcomed the new students and introduced development prospects and talent requirements in Financial IT industry. This helps students to deeper understand their major and encourage them to set their academic and career goals in the next four years.
Series of lectures is also on the table including financial knowledge, learning methodologies, FinTech industry background, and personal experiences. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to ask questions for them to fully understand this industry. On their senior year, students will join CLPS’s internship program and will directly involve in financial projects and can even participate in CLPS’s overseas business operations.
In order to develop excellent financial IT talents in line with the companies’ requirements, CLPS College is committed to build a platform that can improve students’ technical, business, and professional skills. It plans to partner with more universities using the “ CLPS College” model to create a “ Financial IT Talent Academy ” that develops talents by integrating technical, business knowledge, foreign language, and soft skills conforming to the needs of financial institutions.
