CLPS Chairman Speaks Milestones and Achievements in Overseas Business Development at Shanghai Forum on Software Trade 2021
Mr. Xiaofeng Yang, Chairman of CLPS, was invited as one of the keynote speakers at the 19th Shanghai Forum on Software Trade 2021 organized by Shanghai Municipal People’s Government on November 9, 2021.
With the theme ‘Digitally Driven Innovation, Trade Empowered Future’, Mr. Yang highlighted in his remarks CLPS’ milestones and achievements in overseas business development, including the best industry practices for Chinese IT service enterprises to achieve successful business pursuit across global market. “In countries around the world today, no matter how advanced the technology is, almost all industries are wide-open for digitalization. China has one of the most mature and advanced digital ecosystems in the world – way ahead of other countries and regions. This innovative advantage has broad potentials and opportunities for the IT services industry to develop business overseas,” he said.
CLPS currently maintains 19 delivery and R&D centers serving clients in various geographic locations, including 11 in mainland China and eight overseas, located in Hong Kong SAR, USA, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, India and the Philippines. For the fiscal year 2021, CLPS generated US$ 13.6 million of revenue outside of mainland China constituting 10.7% of its total revenue. Currently, CLPS’ overseas business industry coverage includes banking, insurance, trust, commercial software, telecommunication, Internet, and e-commerce, among others.
